Does this AED arrive ready to use?
The AED includes the unit, a 4-year battery and adult electrode pads. Follow the manufacturer’s setup instructions, confirm the ready indicator and place the AED in an accessible location.
How does the rescuer deliver the shock?
This is a semi-automatic AED. If a shock is advised, the AED instructs the responder to stand clear and press the illuminated shock button.
When will the pads need replacement?
Replace the pads after any use or before their printed expiration date. Keep a record of the expiration date as part of your regular AED readiness checks.
When does the 4-year battery need replacement?
The included battery has a 4-year standby life under the manufacturer’s specified conditions. Replace it when the AED indicates replacement is needed or before the stated lifecycle ends.
Can this AED be used for children?
Pediatric capability may require compatible pediatric pads, a pediatric key or another model-specific accessory. Confirm the correct pediatric option for this exact AED before ordering.
Do we need CPR/AED training?
